Luz M. Lugo

Luz Maria Lugo, a beacon of love and laughter, completed her earthly journey on November 19, 2025, in Chester, Pennsylvania. Born on April 13, 1962, in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, to her parents Sixto Jimenez and Georgina Torres, Luz was a vibrant soul whose warmth and spirited personality touched everyone she encountered. Luz, affectionately known by her loved ones as "Luzno," was the cherished wife of Hector Lugo and the proud mother of Hector Jr., Kiaraliz, and Luis. Her commitment to her family was unwavering, and she filled their home with joy, laughter, and the comforting aromas of her delicious cooking. As a homemaker, Luz dedicated her life to creating a nurturing environment where her children could grow and thrive. Luz earned her High School Diploma and later studied Computers at a college in New York. She continued to grow through her life experiences and the relationships she built over the years. Her life showed the power of love, the joy of being a mother, and the importance of family. Her interests were as varied as they were joyful. Luz found pleasure in the simple things: a day out shopping, a visit to the casino, enjoying a meal at her favorite restaurant, or spending time with her family. Her laughter was infectious, and her sense of humor brought lightness to even the most ordinary of days. Luz came from a large and loving family, growing up with her siblings: Pedro Torres, Miguel Santos, Manuel Santos, Dilcia Santos, Virginia Ortiz, Haydee Droz, Isabel Jimenez, Maria Rios, Angel Jimenez, Crucita Jimenez, and Raquel Martinez. She is survived by Manuel Santos, Haydee Droz, Isabel Jimenez, Angel Jimenez, and Raquel Jimenez, and preceded in death by Dilcia Santos, Virginia Ortiz, Pedro Torres, Miguel Santos, Maria Rios, and Crucita Jimenez. She is survived by her loving husband, Hector, and their children, Hector Jr., Kiaraliz, and Luis. Luz leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and the strong bonds of family. Her life was made up of countless meaningful moments shared with those she cherished. She was joyfully anticipating becoming a grandmother, a blessing she held close to her heart. Luz will be deeply remembered and never forgotten; her memory will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew and loved her.
