Gloria F. Pinder

With heavy hearts and unwavering faith, we announce the passing of Gloria "Putty" Pinder, who entered eternal rest on July 14, 2026, at the age of 50. Gloria was born on October 15, 1975, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to Vanessa Pinder. From an early age, she lived a life marked by kindness, strength, compassion, faith, humor, and generosity. Through her work as a caregiver, her unwavering love for others, and her infectious spirit, she left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Her smile could light up any room, her laughter was contagious, and her warm spirit had a way of turning strangers into family. Whether she knew someone for a lifetime or only a moment, Gloria made people feel seen, loved, and valued. A devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend, Gloria found life's greatest joy in her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she loved them fiercely and unconditionally. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with them and created memories that will be treasured for generations to come. She loved family traditions, especially annual family vacations and cousins' karaoke nights. Gloria also had a remarkable creative gift and found joy in decorating life's special moments through her business, Kreative Touch. Whether celebrating birthdays, baby showers, weddings, or other milestones, she poured love and creativity into every detail, making each event as beautiful as the people she served. Gloria loved gospel, R&B, and hip-hop music, enjoyed cooking, traveling to the beach, and proudly cheered for her beloved Philadelphia Eagles. She lived life with passion, laughter, and purpose, leaving behind countless cherished memories and an unforgettable legacy of love. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother: Vanessa Pinder; children: Donte Pinder, Iyiana Pinder, Andre Pinder, Isiah Pinder, and Destiny Tucker; her grandchildren: Christian Alfaro, Donte Pinder Jr., Zendaya Norris, Cameron Pinder, Za'Niyah Pinder, Italy Pinder, Jamai Pinder, A'Miyah Pinder, Andre Pinder Jr., Cayden Pinder, and Jourie Pinder, her brother; Kenneth Perdue Jr.; along with her extended family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones. She was welcomed into Heaven by her brother, Lee Myers-Pinder; her grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; and her beloved bonus child, all of whom preceded her in death. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Gloria's love, wisdom, unwavering faith, creativity, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched. We are grateful for every laugh shared, every lesson taught, every hug given, every event she made beautiful, and every prayer she spoke. While she will be deeply missed, the love she poured into others and the joy she brought to every room will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her. Her legacy of love, generosity, and service will remain in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life honoring Gloria will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at St. Luke Community Christian Church, 320 Tilghman Street, Chester, PA 19013. A public viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate a life well lived and a legacy that will never be forgotten.
