Curtis Allen

Curtis Darryl Allen was born on September 19, 1963, to Bernice Deligar Allen and Henry Wolson Allen. He was born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania. Curtis attended the Chester Upland School District and graduated in 1981. After graduation, Curtis enlisted in the United States Army and served seven years. During his enlistment he was deployed to Germany and served in the Gulf War, leaving with an Honorable discharge. After his discharge, he relocated to Baltimore, Maryland where he resided for thirty years. While living in Baltimore, Maryland he attended Bio Technical Institute of Maryland, Inc., and graduated June 24, 2009. He also attended First Christian Community Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and was loved by everyone in the church. During Curts’s journey, he became the proud father of eight children. He later relocated back to Chester Pennsylvania in 2011, where he met his wife Gina Lorraine Williamson. Curtis and Gina became one for eleven years six months and three days. Curtis was employed by Costco for thirteen years. He was loved so much by so many people. Curtis had to work the register sometimes in Costco and some customers would only go to him for a little conversation and laughs and he made their day, especially during football season. Curt had a Costco crew that loved to get together and have good food and fun and to listen to Curt’s stories. He had a story for everyone. Curtis loved on a different level for each person. He was a very soft-spoken man and very strong-minded. Many of his family and friends would come to him for advice because he always looked at every situation from a unique perspective. His words and advice meant so much to so many people. Curt was the man to call when anything broke down. He was so talented on so many levels. Curt could fix anything, he would see a stranger in need of help on the side of the road in the rain, and he would get out and help. We are all here for a purpose, we believe Curt’s purpose was to love and help people. this must have been his gift. His wife and family would like to say, (Curt) you will always be in our hearts (Forever). We love you.
