Sheila M. Driggins

November 8, 1953 - December 13, 2018

Sheila Marie Driggins daughter of the late Wilbert N and Alberta D Driggins was born on 11/8/1953 in Chester Pa. Sheila passed away peacefully on 12/13/18 at Crozer Chester Medical center. Sheila was the youngest of four children Ronda D. Thompkins, Robert L. Thompkins, Michael N. Driggins, all who have preceded her in death. Sheila was educated in the Chester Upland School District , she was employed at Scott paper 1973-1975. Sheila was a long time employee of Philadelphia Electric Company 1975-2015. Sheila was affiliated with a number of churches during her 65 years, Santuary Church of the Open Door Dr. Audrey Bronson (Philadelphia Pa) where she was a member of Young Women’s Christian Counsel, Mass choir and assited with Small voices Youth Choir. A Trustee of Faithworks Ministries Pastor Rachel McDougald (Chester Pa). Served as secretary New Creatures in Christ Ministries Bishop Wilma P Henry. She later joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Rev. Dr. Willie E Robinson (Twin Oaks Pa). Rea as she was affectionately known was a devoted aunt and friend who had a unique ability to communicate with people in a positive and persuasive manner. Rea was talented in arts and crafts, she was always willing to teach all who would sit down with her. Rea was a magnet for the younger generation, she would love and spoil them then sent them home to their mothers. Her favorite line was “Where is your Mother?”. Sheila leaves to cherish her memory a special friend Lisa Harris, Aunt Cleo Wray 3 nieces 7 nephews 8 great nieces 6 great nephews 2 God children a host of other family and friends.
