Mary L. Watts

July 7, 1937 - September 5, 2020

Mary L. Watts was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina to Francis and Beatrice Smalls. She had three beautiful daughter Patricia, Mary, and Cathy. In her early 30’s she made the decision to leave her hometown and move up north to Chester, Pa to make a better life for her and her daughters. She worked and retired from Riddle hospital where she was a nurse’s aide. She met the love of her life Charles and married in 1982. They later moved to Peoria, IL where she continued to care for others at a small nursing company. After the passing of her husband she returned to Pennsylvania where she volunteered at her church and church food bank. She loved the casino but loved THE LORD even more. She was proceeded in death by her husband Charles Watts and two daughters Patricia Bolds and Mary Elizabeth Ward-Branch. She leaves behind sister- Beatrice Parks; brother- Walter Hachett; daughter -Cathy Haywood; two son-in-law’s- Craig Haywood Sr. and Willie Bolds; grandchildren- Shenequa Smalls, Carmelita Ward, Keywne (Tepha) Bolds, Decarlo Ward, Terrence Ward, Zayid Bolds, De’Von Rivers, Craig (Maggie) Haywood Jr., and Joy Bolds; great grands, great great grands, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
