Marvin Swain Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marvin D. swain (50) of Chester, PA departed this earth suddenly on July 21, at his favorite spot "the carwash". He was predeceased in death by his parents John Nolan and Shirley Swain, grandparents LeRoy and Juanita Swain, his brother John Thomas, and William Brownie" Brown, who raised him until his death. Marvin was born on December 21, 1971, at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Chester, PA. He was educated in the Chester Upland School District. Marvin kept all aspects of his life very private, but the one thing that was very public was his love for cars. Marvin could wash and detail a car like no other. He worked at B & M Car Detailing (Butter's Car Wash) for over 30 years. During these years, he met many people that became more like family. You could always find Marvin at the car wash or speeding down the street in his car, your car, or someone's car, but with that infectious grin, no one could get mad at Marvin. Although cars was Marvin's favorite subject, he would often have conversations about his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Marvin leaves behind his son Marquis Swain-Lewis, dear friend Barry "Butter" Butler, and a host of family and friends. Sorrowfully Submitted by Friends that have became Family
