Kelvin Oliver Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kelvin passed away suddenly on February 8th , 2022. He was the son of the late Charles and Gracie E. Bennett Oliver. Born January 24th, 1954, Kelvin was the youngest of 8 children. He attended the Chester-Upland School District. Through the years, he worked at various jobs including - Sunship & Dry Dock, in Chester PA. as a welder; then at Trash to Steam Plant in Chester, PA; followed by a short stay at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Lima, PA; and then at Local 413 - until his health began to fail. Kelvin loved to have a nice time. He loved music. You would often see him at concerts in the parks around Chester. He would spend the entire time dancing with a big smile on his face and would never sit down. Kelvin was predeceased by his parents, Charles & Gracie Oliver; his three sisters – Margaret Oliver, Shirley Oliver Johnson and Sylvia Oliver Ramey; and his brother Charles Oliver Jr. He leaves to mourn him - his two sisters Jean Corbitt and Jacobina (Cola) Priest; his brother Anthony Oliver; his two sisters-in-law Barbara Oliver and Norma Oliver; his two brothers-in-law Robert Priest and Duke Carter; and his dear friend Sheila Stansbury. Kelvin also had a special relationship with his niece, Cadeshia Carter Burton - with whom he confided in, and who always looked out for his well-being. Rest in Peace My Brother.
