Isabell Rogers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Isabell Rogers was born in Savannah, Georgia on January 7, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Jim Simmons and Thelma Simmons, who raised her and her two sisters, Elizabeth Williams and Cecilia Whitaker here in Chester, Pennsylvania until they became adults. Isabell was a loving person. She enjoyed laughing and being among her family and friends. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for you when you needed her. Isabell retired from Wallingford Nursing Home where she was a dietitian cook for many years, which she had enjoyed tremendously. She was married to the late Donald Rogers for over 40 years and from this Union they had three son’s Jerome Simmons, Donado Rogers, and Ricardo Rogers whom she loved very dearly. Isabell played a pinnacle part in raising them by opening up her home and heart to 2 of her grandchildren Donadjah Rogers and Jerome Cooper until they graduated from high school. She was blessed to have seven grandkids, in addition to that, four great grandchildren who always brightened up her day every time they were around. Words can’t express the multitude of family members and friends who have not been mentioned today, truly they haven’t been forgotten, for she will remain close and deep in our hearts forever.
