George "Wadoo" Williams Jr.

May 2, 1957 - November 17, 2020

George Williams Jr., son of the late Clara Hackett and George Williams Sr., was called to reunite with our Lord on November 17, 2020 at Lankenau Medical Center, in Wynnewood, PA. George affectionately called “Wadood” was born on May 2, 1957, in Chester, PA. He was the youngest of two children. George attended and graduated from Chester High School with the Class of 1975. George was formerly employed at Earl L. Foster Funeral Home, Congoleum Corporation, Fair Acres, Elwyn, Chester Upland School District & The City of Chester. George was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chester, PA, where he served on the following ministries: The Male Chorus, The Senior Usher Board and was chairman of the Men’s Day Committee. George was a dedicated member of Franklin Lodge #58, Charles E. Gordon #65, Omega #12, Minaret Temple #174 and Imperial #12. George was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Hackett; his father, George Williams Sr.; one brother, Morgan “Peachy” Justice and a special friend Michael Mills. George leaves to cherish his memories; his son, Kareem Shaheer Sr., Chester, PA; his grandson, Kareem Shaheer Jr., Chester, PA; 1 great granddaughter, Khapri Shaheer, Chester, PA; & 1 God Son, Javon Garrett, Chester, PA. His memory shall also be cherished by his cousins; Joe & James Dukes, (Bonus Family); Delsie Muse affectionately known as “Mom Dels” whom George cherished and loved dearly. Naomi “Bum” Muse, Daisy Williams-Mason and a special niece, Crystal Johnson. Honorary Friends: Harold “Q” Queen, Elijah Holmes, Adolphus Hall, Wakeelah and other relatives and friends.
