On Wednesday, January 19, 2022 Florence D. Hassan (STEPHENSON) was surrounded by her children when she was giving her wings and called home to be with the Lord. Florence, affectionately known as "Tinkerbell", "Mom", "Mom Mom" and "Aunt tink" was born on May 31st 1955 in Chester PA at Chester Hospital to the late George Stephenson and Pearly-Mae Stephenson. Tinkerbell attended the Chester Upland School District and graduated from Chester High School in 1974. She also attended Widener University, Cheney University, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Tinkerbell worked at DCIU Head Start as a Family Service Worker/Case Manager where she helped families all over Delaware County. Tink also worked as a Barmaid all over Chester PA Both jobs allowed her to display her Charismatic personality. Tinker also was a member of the Lady Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 300 Charles Horsey. Tink also joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in Linwood PA where she became an active member. Tinkerbell loved to play bingo, go on friends and family trips, watch movies, celebrate with her grandchildren and loved to entertain family and friends with her singing, dancing, and jokes. Tinker was known and loved by many, her heart was kind and she was undeniably magnanimous. She was a loving and caring mother and the best grandmother a child could ask for. Tinkerbell was preceded in death by her Mother Pearly-Mae Stephenson, Father George Stephenson, Sister Betty Stephenson-McNeil, Sister Shirley Stephenson-Bailey, Brother John Stephenson. Tinkerbell leaves fond memories to be shared by her children, Sons James Roman Jr and Nehemiah Davis. Daughter La'Chia Davis. Grandchildren DeVaughn, Breanna, Shae'Chia, Quamirah, James 3rd, Nevaeh, Eric Jr, Jacoby, Nah'mi, Jih'Chia and Ariel. Brother Larry Stephenson Sr. Sister Arlene Stephenson Brother/Nephew Norkey Stephenson. Great Aunt Juliette Edwards. A Host of Nieces and Nephews Aunts and Cousins. Best Friends Barbara Wright and Rosie Simmers. God saw the road was getting rough, the hills too hard to climb, so God softly whispered in Tinkerbell's ears come home sweet child of mine.
