Revelations 21.4 ESTELL ORA {QUEEN} ROBERTSON on Friday August 13 2021 at 7:30 am at Crozer Hospice in Lima Pa. She departed her earthly home to join her heavenly father in the spiritual world along with her mother Ora Mae Queen, father Alfred Queen Sr, her brother Alfred Queen Jr. grandson Juan Queen and great grandson Braelyn Newcomb. Estell was born October 12, 1946. She was the oldest daughter of 3 girls and 4 boys. She received her education in the Chester and Philadelphia School System where she graduated in 1962. In 1967 She married the late Willian (June) Robertson moved to Newburg New York and they raised 1 daughter and 4 sons prior to moving back to Chester 1974. Estell had many jobs from working in the nursing field, at Dr. Muller office in New York doing private duty, nurse aide at Martin Run Life Care Community and Cades. She worked as a teacher’s aide at Booker T. Washington, she also worked Lasko’s, and Scott Paper Advertising and Materials. Estell’s favorite job the one she enjoyed the most was working for West Chester University as a supervisor in the house keeping department until she was medically retired in 2002. In her younger life Estell was a former member of Temple Baptist Church where she enjoyed bible school and Sunday service. She enjoyed sewing, and making or altering her own clothes, Estell was truly a DIVA, with nicknames such as Mara Stella, and Stella Wee. Estell also enjoyed shopping, making her famous sweet potato pies, cruising and vacationing with her sister as much as she could in Germany, France, Poland, Italy and Czechoslovakia. If you ever visit her home, you would know based on the nick knacks on display that she was well traveled. She also enjoyed crocheting and made many Afghans for family and friends. Always the protector no one was more important than her family she would go the distance for. For nineteen years Estelle fought the hard battle with Parkinson always the trooper. She will be truly missed. Estell leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter Lisa Dixon (Anthony) four sons Juan who was her sole care provide for the past 10 months Brian Queen, Maurice Robertson and Shawn Robertson (Tamika) three brothers David (Charlotte) Gary and Mark Queen two sisters Grace who was her care provider for 15 years and Lynette Morgan (Marvin) stepdaughters Carla Gordy (Silk) and her special granddaughter Alexis Queen; 16 grandchildren’s and a host of great grandchildren’s niece’s nephew’s cousins and life time friends. May I go now? Don’t you think the time is right? May I say good-bye to pained-filled days and endless lonely nights? I’ve lived my life and done my best, an example I’ve tried to be. So, can I take that step beyond and set my spirit free? I didn’t want to go first, I fought with all my mind! But something seems to draw me now to a warm and loving light. I want to go! I really do! It’s difficult to stay, but I will try as best I can to give you time to care for me and share your love and tears. I know you are sad and afraid because I see your tears. I’ll not be far, I promised that, and hope you’ll always know that my spirit will be close to you whenever you must go. Thank you for loving me, you know I loved you too. That’s why it’s hard to say good-bye and end this life with you. So, hold me now, just one more time and let me hear you say. Because you care so much for me, you’ll let me go today! I often lie awake at night, when the world is fast asleep s, and take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day, but missing you is heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain.
