Elsie Douglass, born in Princess Anne, Maryland on August 3, 1919, deceased on December 15, 2020 after a long illness. Mother of sons John Douglass of Rockville, Md. and Ronald Douglass of Wilmington, Delaware. Yvette Douglass Daughter-in-law, Gia Ennis, granddaughter, John David Douglass grandson. Jai Ennis, great grandson. Adopted Son Oliver Hearn of Princess Anne, Md. and adopted daughter Shirley Robinson-Glover of Boothwyn, Pa. Predeceased by her mother Lillie Jones and husband John Douglass, Sr. The family would like to thank caregivers Claressa Purnell, JaKenya Thomas, Stacy Moten, Marlene Council and Chekeirah Scott for being by her side during her long illness. Longtime member of St. Daniels United Methodist Church in Chester, Pa. where she served on United Methodist Women and Feeding Program Committees and she was also a member of Class #11.
