Charlene Bullock Price was born on February 16, 1954 in Fair Bluff, NC to the late George Bullock Sr. and Daphine Bullock. In 1959 Charlene moved to Chester, PA and graduated from Chester High School in 1973. After high school Charlene was employed at Cheyney University where she was the dining hall Supervisor and then began working at Aramark Inc. where she retired in 2019. In 1973 Charlene married her high school sweetheart, David Price and from this union came 6 children: David, Davida, Dynaia, Dwjuan, Deshon and Deshona. She also had 3 stepchildren that she loved as her own; Duane Johnson, Donye’ Duncan and D’Juana Price. In her spare time Charlene loved to cater, decorate and do interior decorating. Charlene began party planning and this brought her much joy. The joy of seeing her finished product and the excitement and joy the decorations gave to others fulfilled her. Charlene also cherished her beloved grandkids and loved spending time with them. Their favorite outings were shopping at Walmart, traveling to Cowtown and hitting the local yard sales. Charlene’s favorite holiday was Christmas and spending time with her family was her number one priority. Charlene’s dedication to her family was unprecedented and she always made herself available to help family however she could. Charlene also took pride in her community and loved her neighbors. Over the last years, Charlene and her daughter Dynaia took care of her mother, Daphine Bullock, and selflessly took responsibility for her care and daily living. Charlene leaves to cherish her memory her husband David Price Sr, her children David Price Jr, Davida Robinson (Richard), Dynaia Price (Jeffery), Dwjuan Price, Deshon Price (Kadeshia) and Deshona Sherrod (Jeffrey); 3 stepchildren; Duane Johnson (Melvina) Donye’ Duncan (Malcolm) and D’Juana Price: 19 loving grandchildren and 7 loving great grandchildren. She also leaves 7 siblings; George Bullock Jr. (Roslyn), Arnold Bullock (Lovey), Timothy Bullock (Lisa), Otis Bullock (Brenda) Bryant Green Bullock (Ameerah) Irene Bullock and Lisa Bullock and a host of nieces and nephews.
