Almeda M. Armstrong Thomas was born on February 19, 1945 in Chester PA., to the late Charles and Grace Armstrong, She Departed this life on January 11th, 2022, at Riddle Hospital. Almeda was educated in the Chester Upland School District. At an early age she accepted Christ with her parents and siblings. She was baptized at Robinson Memorial Church in Chester, Pa. As an adult Almeda attended various churches in the City of Chester and later in life she became a member of First Church of Our Lord in Jesus Christ where she spent the last of her days living for the Lord. Almeda worked at various places of care for others, such as Elwyn, United Cerebral Palsy where she also received recognition in appreciation for her 10 years of dedicated service. Almeda also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and making Banners and other Arts and crafts for any occasions. She also was a fashionably dressed women and Loved shopping on QVC & HSN channels which was all a part of her hobby life. She also loved traveling, partying with family and friends whether it was a cookout, or out to dinner. Almeda is preceded in death by her siblings Nine Sisters, Elsie Armstrong, Betty Ann Emmens, Ida Lee Davis, Myrtle Williams, Elizabeth Jones, Odella Creary, Delores Thompson, Darlena Armstrong, one Brother Raymond Armstrong. Almeda leaves to cherish her memories 3 sisters Lillian Joyner, Estelle Waring and Eleanor Drafton, 2 Brothers Harvey and Dessell Armstrong; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
