Willie S. Hill

Willie Steven Hill, affectionately known as Wilcoxxx, 51, was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, to Willie Robertson and the late Olivia R. Bailey. Willie was a proud graduate of Chester High School, Class of ’94, where he energized his atmosphere with light and laughter. Willie was a born leader who dominated every atmosphere he stepped into. Willie Wilcoxxx worked at West Philly Bronze for over 20 years before entering the next adventure of life at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Environmental Services, and the Lab Team for the last five years of his life. Willie Wilcoxxx’s source of light, energy, loud laugh, and that million-dollar smile electrified atmospheres. There was no one who could tell Wilcoxxx anything about football or basketball—he was the man with the stats. He was inspired to bring people together with his magnetic, larger-than-life personality and generous spirit. To know Willie Wilcoxxx was to know laughter, loyalty, and love. Whether it was through a joke, a warm hug, an encouraging word, or a jokingly smart, sarcastic response, Wilcoxxx made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to know him. He loved HARD! Willie Wilcoxxx was deeply devoted to those he cared about—especially his better half, affectionately known to all as “my wife”—his children, and grandchildren. His hustle and heart were unmatched, always making sure home was secured and that he uplifted others. Wilcoxxx enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, barbecues, pool games, and dancing at all celebrations, which will be greatly missed! Willie Wilcoxxx showed up in countless ways—by sharing stories that made you laugh or cry, supporting people without being asked, offering rides, and simply being there when you needed someone to talk to. He made sure YOU felt seen, heard, and valued, no matter who you were. Willie was preceded in death by his fabulous mother, Olivia Bailey; gorgeous sister, Ramona Hill; Aunt Susan Calhoun; and uncles Steven, David, Joel, and Ronald Hill. Willie’s love and legacy will be cherished by his loving wife, Tequiela Rice; children: Tazia Rice, Keon Johnson, Sheayonah Montgomery, Willie Hill Jr., Krisha Rice, and Wyakeim Hill; grandchildren: Brayden, Harlem, Maaliyah, Hendrix, Christian, and Amir; father: Willie Hill; siblings: Greg Harding, Tony Hill, Carrie Hill, Teresa Colson, Geneva, Baaron, and Eric Belgrave; devoted mother-in-law, Cornella Fanuiel; brother-in-law, Pete Rice; beloved godmother, Geraldine Dickerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who will carry his memory with them always. Wilcoxxx—a man whose presence brought joy, strength, and love to so many—will be GREATLY missed!
