Paulette M. Cooper

Paulette Marie Wesley Cooper was born to the late Peal R. Wesley Andrews and James H. Andrews in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania December 19, 1951. Paulette entered eternal rest on July 3, 2022, at home in Lansdown, Pennsylvania in the presence of her beloved daughter Sheena Taylor. Paulette completed her high school graduation education in 1969 at Darby Township High School in Glenolden, Pennsylvania. She was employed in her earlier years at First Pennsylvania Bank and in 1981 was a faithful employee at the United Parcel Service (USPS). Paulette’s position was a well devoted sorter for 38 years and was highly respected for her qualifications and certifications. Paulette retired in 2019 with plans to travel and enjoy her life with family and friends. Paulette was predeceased by Ernest Taylor Jr., as well as Sheena’s father and husband William Cooper. At an early age Paulette committed her life spiritually and had developed a close relationship with the Lord over th4e years. She enjoyed attending worship services, listening to sermons, Bible study as well as attending revivals and women’s retreats. Paulette joined Mt. Hebron A.M.E Church in Linwood Pa in 2021 with both her daughter and granddaughter Samirah. She always enjoyed praising the Lord by singing, clapping her hands, and standing declaring her faithfulness through the sharing of testimonies. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 121, which always built her faith in pursuing life’s challenges. Paulette had a passion for fashion. She could always be counted on to display the latest trends in her attire of “Fedora Hats” and matching shoes and purses. Her impeccable clean and shiny car was always filled with gas and ready to travel in style. Paulette lived a life of faithfulness, trustworthy, truthfulness, devotion, and love. She lived the life that left many unforgettable memories for all those who knew and loved her. Paulette now joins her brother, George Wolford and her stepsister, Vivian Andrews who preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Sheena L Taylor; grandchildren Vanair A. Brickle and Samirah N Taylor and great grandson KyAir A Brickle; godson Cyrus Wolford, brothers, Arthur Wesley, Rodney Wesley (Mae), and Wayne Andrews; sister, Sheila Andrews Wesley, stepsister, Gloria Andrews and stepson Sean Cooper, sister in law Lois Wolford; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
