Mujahid S. Fareed

Mujahid Saadiq Fareed was born on January 31,1979, to Linda Stokes Fareed and Othman Fareed in Chester, Pa. He departed this life suddenly on February 22,2020.He was the fourth child out of six children. Mu was affectionally called Mu, Darkness, D Wade. Mu was educated in the Chester Upland School District. He graduated from Chester High School class of 1998.He obtained a mixologist(bartender)and Commercial Driver's License(CDL). He was involved in different sports such as track, football, basketball, and baseball. His passion was to become a professional football player. He got as far as playing semi pro football. Mu later became a football and basketball coach for CUSD. Previously he was a coach with The Chester Panthers, were his team won the championship. Mujahid was a diehard Eagles Fan. Mu was a fun-loving person, that brough laughter to everyone that met him. He was especially known for his big smile, humorous ways, life of the party, and his many impersonations (all the characters from the martin show). Mu held various jobs in Crozer Chester Medical Center Dry Waterproofing, Earl L. Foster Funeral Home, CUSD Safety Officer, Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack Security Officer, Security at numerous clubs. His most recent job was being an Equipment Operator with ACV in Aston, PA. Mu was preceded in death by his son Jaden H. Fareed, maternal Grandfather Aaron Allen, paternal grandparents William and Nettie Simmons. He leaves to cherish his memories, his Fiancé Nikiesha Malveaux, one son Evan Fareed, one daughter Mujaira Fareed, two stepsons Damir and Michaela one stepdaughter Ameera. Mother Linda Stokes Fareed, Father Othman Fareed. Maternal Grand Mother Gloria E Allen. Three sisters Gloria Stokes, Ni'Mat Waterton (Carl) of Chester, PA, and Bakir Fareed of Plano, TX. Three brothers Bishop Kevin S. Simmons of Strongsville, OH, Dwight Stokes (Nichole)of Marcus Hook, PA, and Idrees Fareed (Passion)of Chester, PA. One half-brother Jermaine Clark of Chester, PA and one dear cousin that was like a little brother Quran Cooper of Brookhaven, Pa. Three Uncles, Four Aunts,11 nieces, five nephews, three great nieces, and one great nephew.
