Levoliour McCarthy

Levoliour McCarthy was born on the 1st day of February in Thomson Georgia to the late Tom Collins and Lessie (Taylor) Collins. She was the oldest of six children to this union. Levoliour transitioned to be with her mom and dad and 3 brothers on Tuesday November 26, 2024, at home with her daughter by her side. Levoliour received her education from the public schools of Delaware County, Sharon Hill High School. Levoliour met her late deceased husband Layton Eugene McCarthy from Chester, Pa. and married on November 24,1962 and on April 4, 1969, she was blessed with her Precious daughter Stacy. Little did Levoliour know she would be raising her daughter by herself. June 7,1969 her husband Layton was in a fatal car accident. Levoliour's mother and father were helping to watch her Precious Stacy, so she was able to work. Levoliour was a Senior Accountant Analysis for Cigna, INA for the Life Insurance Department where she was employed for 38 years before retiring. Levoliour was bored sitting at home, so she went back to work at Fidelity Bank, the name changed to First Union and then Wells Fargo Bank where she then retired again after 20 odd years. Levoliour was the most sweetest and loyal person God created, to know her was to Love her. Before Levoliour had her own Precious Stacy she was spreading her love and attention to her nephew and niece, Al and Kim. Levoliour was dedicated and devoted to her church, First A.M.E., of Darby Township Pennsylvania, Levoliour Loved the Lord, Loved her church and church Family where she was a Trustee who handle responsibility of the finances and attended meetings being the representative for First A,M.E. for the Brotherhood Breakfast and making sure that the breakfast was the Best around. Levoliour was predeceased by her husband, Layton McCarthy and her parents, Tom and Lessie Collins, her brothers Eddie Collins. Warren Collins, and Bernard Collins. She leaves to cherish her memories, her Precious daughter Stacy and Todd and her Special Friend Bill and her Beautiful Sisters Patsie Collins and Claire Johnson and Favorite sister in laws Ernestine Collins and Ginny McCarthy and the Best brother in laws Booker Johnson and Frankie McCarthy. The Special Love of her Life Perry, Brandon and Kandis and her extra daughter/niece Kim and amazing nieces and nephews and great, great-great and great -great -great nieces and nephews and her favorite cousins (you know who you are😉 wink wink).
