Jeremiah T. Trusty

On Wednesday, March31, 2021, Jeremiah Timothy Trusty went on to spend eternal life with his heavenly Father. Jeremiah was born to Diane Fisher and the late Raymond Timothy Trusty on November 16, 1982. He precedes in death his stepfather Darrell Fisher, grandparents Johnnie and Deanner Stewart and Elmwood and Viola Trusty. He was the youngest of the family, but more often acted as the oldest child. Jeremiah leaves to mourn, one brother Isaiah Timothy who lives in New York City and one sister Ayanna Jamillah Stewart from Bear, Delaware and brother-in-love Terrance Stewart from Bear, Delaware. His beloved niece Armani Stewart and 3 nephews Amiri and Ajani Stewart from Bear, DE and Mason Djuric from North Holland. Jeremiah a lean 6 foot 4, played basketball for Chichester High School, The Christian Academy High School where him and his brother Isaiah were on the same team and had an undefeated season in Jeremiah’s junior year. Jeremiah graduated high school from The Christian Academy in the year 2000. He received a full four- year scholarship and attended Wheaton College in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and where he established many, many friends. After graduating from college, Jeremiah being the explorer that he was, spent two years working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Japan was his next adventure, where he spent two years as a missionary and also played basketball. While in Japan, Jeremiah formed a singing group called “Free”, they became quite popular and is still in existence. Jeremiah, just a few months back, put the group together to sing Alpha and Omega. If Jeremiah formed a relationship with you, it was “forever”. Jeremiah Trusty was many things a singer, a model, an actor, a stylist, an improvisational comedian, who had perfect comedic timing all his life. He always kept whoever was in his presence laughing. Jeremiah sang in many church choirs and groups. In spite of all his talents, his life was not complete without music. For many years Jeremiah was involved and became part of AMTC (Actors, Models, Talent for Christ) family, this is where he coached and styled people who were aspiring to reach their goals in life. Jeremiah appeared in print ads and commercials for Merrill Lynch and Pampers. He also completed musical theatre workshops at the New York Film Academy. Jeremiah was someone who saw everything, wanted to do it and did it. Jeremiah’s greatest gift to this world was being a FRIEND. He had more BEST friends than anyone ever known. He was unapologetically real with you, but genuine. He told you the truth, even though you didn’t want to hear it. Jeremiah’s love ran deep for the people he cared about. It also ran deep for strangers, that is why everyone became his FOREVER FRIEND. Jeremiah had a love for his Mother, which was unexplainable. She also was one of his BEST FRIENDS. Jeremiah loved his family, his sister Ayanna, who played the Mother role, his brother Isaiah whom which many people thought they were twins most of their lives and Terrence who became a true brother and he often called Jeremiah his mentor. Amiri, Armani and Ajani and Mason loved their Uncle “Shynie” who always introduced them to something new about life. Jeremiah, we LOVE you. He leaves to cherish in memory a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
