Arnita B. Dingle

Arnita Dingle, age 70 was born on January 15, 1951 in Chester, PA to the late John Harris Sr. and Bernice Raison. She went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2021. Arnita (Nita) was the true matriarch of the family. She was a strong, determined, and loving woman. She groomed all of the females in the family to be strong, independent, and motivated ladies. She groomed the males to be strong, independent, motivated men who respect woman. Her ability to provide encouragement, wisdom, and reassurance to the people close to her will be sorely missed. As For those of you who knew the young Nita. You may remember her for kicking butts and taking names. She was always fiercely protective of her family and loved ones. Yet she was no holds barred with family and friends as well. Step out of line or be disrespectful and anyone could get “two to the gut and one to the head” at any time. In the end, she utilized all of her strength, toughness, and determination to battle cancer. With GOD’s help, she definitely gave all of her ailments a run for the money. In her earlier years, Arnita was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Linwood, PA. Her faith in God never wavered. She was a living and beathing example of what we can do through Jesus Christ who strengthens us. Arnita attended the Chester Public School System in Chester, PA. She pursued and achieved her High School Diploma. She then went on and attended classes at Delaware County Community College. She worked in the Customer Service field for many years at QVC. Her last place of employment was in Customer Service at UPS in Essington, PA. She truly had a knack for people. She met the love of her life, Curtis Dingle while at an Elk’s function. They were united in marriage on January 20, 1988 in Elkton, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents; John Harris and Bernice Raison-Furness and her siblings: John “Smudge” Harris, Kenneth “Gunn” Harris and Andrew “Chico” Crawford. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 33 years, Curtis Dingle (Chester, PA). Her loving sisters: Iris J. Jones (Wilmington, DE), Betty Raison-Lawler, Elmira Raison-Brown (Chester, PA) brother: Theodore Anderson, Jr (Wilmington, DE). Her sisters-in-law, Myownnah (Lee) Oberby, Laura (Tinker) Dingle, brothers-in-law, Anthony Dingle, and Richard (George) Lowery. Two children, Sabrina Goode (Leon) Middletown, DE and Anthony Lawler (Dion) Upland, PA. Four grandchildren: Leon, Lamar, and Sheyana Goode (Middletown, DE and Dion Cobb (Upland, PA), six great grandchildren: Za’Ryiah, Liam, Kaleb, Oliva, Talhia, and Aubrey. She also leaves to cherish her memory her very close friend – Catherine “Peachie” Goode and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Respectfully Submitted The Family
